MEDFONE Receives New York State Grant to Train Staff

Wantagh, New York based MEDFONE, Inc. has been chosen to receive a $99,500 grant to train new and existing workers.

“We are honored to be recipients of this grant,” said MEDFONE President and Chief Operating Officer Jay Moses. “MEDFONE has always been committed to higher levels of training and to growing our work force. This grant is a tremendous leap forward for the company.”

The grant is part of an initiative called “Building Skills in New York State (BUSINYS)”. Its purpose is to provide the business community opportunities to upgrade the skills of its workers while maintaining a competitive edge in its industry.
